Leah Lee Dittmer was born in Toronto, raised in NY, and has traveled through Europe, the former Soviet Union and Venezuela. She holds a BA in International Relations and Art History, and is the co-founder of ARTE AMAZONIA. After living in Vienna, Austria where she and her late husband had a small gallery, she has relocated back in the states to Northeastern Florida where she spends much of her free time exploring the outdoors with her three children.

She is a student of life and a teacher. Focused on combining her passion for the environment with her love of art, she shares her collection of Amazon artifacts with others in hopes to inspire appreciation of the natural world. In essence, she feels that transformation begins with the individual and that you are never too young, or too old, to establish your own connection with our planet.
